This makes it hard to win. The odds of making four of a kind are 0.0256% in standard Texas Hold&#8217;em. However, the odds of flopping quads are much higher.<\/p>\n<p>Four of a Kind in poker is a combination of four cards of the same rank. The best four of a kind in poker is four Aces.<\/p>\n<h2>High card<\/h2>\n<p>Usually, the highest card in a poker hand is the best hand. A high card can be a king or ace. A player can also use an ace as a low card below a two. Depending on the situation, a player can also use a high card.<\/p>\n<p>The High Card can also be the best hand in a straight. A straight is a hand that has five consecutive cards in numerical order. A high card can help to break ties in a poker game. If a player has a pair, he can also win a pot.
